Course Content: Additional regulations and procedures specific to the handling of radioactive materials.

If you are involved only with radioactive materials, you need to attend the Radioactive Materials by Air course.  When you pass the course examination, your certificate will show that it is for radioactive materials only.  The certificate must be revalidated by attending another Radioactive Materials by Air course before the certificate expires.  If you are involved with radioactive materials in addition to other classes of dangerous goods and do not already hold a Dangerous Goods by Air certificate, you must attend both courses (5 days) and pass both examinations.  When you revalidate you must attend both a Dangerous Goods by Air Revalidation course and a Radioactive Materials course.
